
While this gentleman was clearly living in his own little reality, I can actually sympathize with him.
A friend of mine back in high school, (also a creative type), described the experience as, “Midnight Madness”. -Where you’d find yourself sitting bolt upright in bed in the wee hours with your head exploding with a fantastic idea which you must act upon Right Now.
In my case as an author, this often meant a mad scramble to the word processor. Of course, come morning, the idea upon review might need a few touch ups to bring it into sync with reality. -And failing that.., total deletion. Though sometimes I’d get a nugget or two of great material out of a moonlight visitation from the muses.
This fellow, I think, couldn’t find the “Delete” button.
