I love this story!
It makes me laugh and feel optimism at the same time.
While grocery shopping a while ago, I saw this guy’s product on the shelves. He actually got his distribution deal after all. How exciting!
-Mind you, I don’t know if he’s still allowed to continue selling meat rub out the back of his truck. That seemed like a bit of a shady hack.., but I certainly understand what it’s like to be so excited about a new project that you blow past the normal felt ropes designed to keep people in their lanes. “My idea is SO great, these rules can’t possibly matter! Everybody is going to love this!”
So, “Meat Rub Guy” (who sells out of the back of his truck) became a running joke along his delivery route. But god bless the unbridled entrepreneur!
Without people like these, we’d all still be living in mud huts!
